USPS considering slowing down mail delivery to save money. A couple of things: 1. The USPS just raised the cost to mail a letter by a nickel to 73¢, so right out the gate, we’re paying more for slower service. 2. If their processing speed slows to the point of unacceptability, their business’s gonna drop like a rock ’cause it’ll push more and more people to pay everything online whenever possible. That’ll take even MORE money away from a bloated federal agency already flailing like a non-swimmer in the deep end.
