Oregon gets a C- on infrastructure report card. For those that’re sharp enough, you can see where this’s goin’. The Salem Democrats are gonna use this as an excuse to milk us for more money when all they have to do is redirect the money they’re gettin’ from us already. If they’d supplement the infrastructure maintenance dollars they’re bringin’ in now with the money this state throws at illegal aliens (Medicaid, free this and free that), they’d probably have enough to get the job done without tryin’ to get more money from the rest of us.

I’ve been parroting people in the industry who’re smarter than me for years, sayin’ wind and solar are the two biggest scams of the century, and because the treehuggers weren’t stopped, and convinced the Democrat denizens of Salem to pass earthfirster laws, commonsensers will suffer the high cost of somebody else’s arrogance. More than likely, by the time all of their mandates kick in, the wife and I’ll both be in the ground, so it won’t bother us, but anybody else on a fixed income will bear the brunt of the earthfirsters’ idiocy when you can least afford it.

Vice President Kamala Harris names Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as her running mate. Doesn’t surprise me a bit. This guy’s a Democrat’s Democrat. I thought Oregon politics were bad. The fact that Minnesota elected this guy to be their governor puts them right up there with California in my book.

Harris dodges questions about her plan to handle a recession. If this country is dumb enough to elect Comrade Kamala, it’ll be the first time in history that America elects an ostrich as its president.

Wyden tax scheme voted down 48-44. Here’s why: “The bill’s changes mean a parent of three could claim $4,800 in cash credits with only about $13,000 of earnings, down from the roughly $34,500 required under the current credit system.” The only reason Wyden keeps gettin’ sent back to Washington every year is the Willamette Valley’s butt-load of Democrats. He’s an enemy of common sense and a champion of progressiveness over practicality. The linked article exposes why we can’t afford him anymore. If you’re dumb enough to vote for Wyden, you might as well drive through town, roll down your window, and start throwin’ out hundred-dollar bills. My advice? If nobody’s gonna answer the call and run against him, vote for a write-in candidate: Donald D. Duck or Mickey J. Mouse.
