Re: Unless you reside in the woke progressive camp (assuming you do, it’s inexplicable how you ended up here), if this measure makes it to the November ballot, it needs to be shot down in flames. The hypocritical Democrats’ve used it in the past when THEY wanted to deny a quorum, when THEY were the minority party in Salem, but now that they enjoy a supermajority in the Capitol Building, they want to finish paving the road to complete legislative domination, by taking away the only option for conservatives to stop measures dipped in blue ink. Measures like the recent attempt by Queen Brown to tack on a 72¢ per gallon gas tax to pay for her liberal agenda items. Sadly, if this tactic would’ve been used to stop SB554 in its tracks, we all wouldn’t be saddled with the effects of THAT anti-gun measure. Remember – watch for this on November’s ballot, and if it’s there, vote NO.

Based on reports I’ve heard, this one would’ve sent all the snowflakes running for their safe space at college or their room in mommy’s basement.

Re: Wyden, the 40+ year king of spin, blames #45’s corporate tax cuts for the baby formula shortage. Somebody needs to tell the donkey’s ass that if government didn’t control the number of manufacturers it let participate in supplying the welfare people it gives money to – you know – the ones that’re buying almost half the formula sold, there’d be more competition, and more product availability. It’s kind of like a government-controlled construction project, with a prevailing wage contract clause. The only contractors that get to play are those that want to pay the government-mandated labor wage, which is almost always higher than the norm. When you’ve made up your mind to skirt the equal opportunity employment laws, you write a job description to match the qualifications of the person you want to hire. THAT’S why the White House’s full of woke progressive idiots right now.

You screamed for the police to be defunded, and they were, and now there’s no money to have detectives investigate adult sexual assault cases. Betcha didn’t see THAT one coming. But then again, it was only of matter of time. Commonsensers could see what was going to happen. When the money dries up, eventually, addressing crime becomes a game of pin the tail on the donkey. First, there aren’t enough dollars to investigate ALL rapes, so they concentrate on child rapes. Next, it’ll be not enough money to investigate ALL assaults, so the only ones that get investigated involve a death. How far will society’s fabric have to unravel until the idiots that clamored to defund the police see the error of their ways and reverse course? As has been said here many times, things will only change when enough politicians who backed the defund movement become victims of the criminal tsunami that’s drowning this country. Until then, you’d better find a reliable supply source for your hollow points.

What’s he paying all those staffers for? If you voted for Biden, you voted for a guy that doesn’t have the sense to make sure he has enough toilet paper to wipe his ass when he sits down to take a shit. I know Memorial Day is not till the 30th, but I’m going out of town for the better part of a week to attend my next-to-youngest granddaughter’s high school graduation and wanted to post this before the holiday.

Re: “Biden-backed Schrader ousted in Oregon’s 5th District.” Another in a continuing line of “I Told Ya So’s.” THIS is what happens when our poor excuse for a president tries to put his cache behind any candidate. In campaigns at all levels across this country, Democrats are staying as far away from him as they can, because they know he’s radioactive. Too bad all the people that voted for him in 2020 didn’t have sense enough to see that before they checked the box or pulled the lever. It’d’ve saved us all from $5 a gallon gas, 8.5% inflation, and an extra 2 million illegal aliens running around the country.
