She contends that the committee to recall her made false statements to get the petition approved and that no decisions have been made on property or roadway configurations. If anybody that knows what LTD did to shove the W 11th Ave EMX project through, would’ve made that statement, I’d ask what they’d been smoking. LTD has laid out the scope of the River Road project, and if you were around to follow the progress of 11th Ave’s conversion, you’ll know it went the same way. If you’re going to dedicate a lane of travel in each direction for the buses, there’s only two ways you’re going to do it. Take an existing lane away from each side, or declare eminent domain, and steal property away from businesses and private landowners at the price of a dime on the dollar. It’s not rocket science.
