Wyden IS up for election this year, but I haven’t read about any plans for HIM to invite the idiot to Oregon to stump for him.

Because the city councilors are taking a dim view of giving the department more money to hire additional uniformed officers to fill their shortages. Instead, they’re in favor of sending out a social worker when the college kids renting the house next door are having a blowout, and making so much noise you can’t sleep at 0300 on a worknight.

Re: This case supports what I’ve been saying all along – a gun doesn’t pull its own trigger. It’s these nutjobs that are products of dysfunctional homes that pull the trigger. The sooner anti-gun, bleeding-heart Democrats figure that out, the better off we’ll be.

Re: Voter beware. The liberal unions that’re the lifeblood of the donkey’s ass Democrats have managed to get a lefty’s perennial favorite on this year’s ballot. In essence, it would change the Constitution so that if any member had more than 10 unexcused absences, they’d be ineligible for reelection. Folks if this passes, fill-up your tank, or plug in your car all night, pack up the kids and head to California. It’s bad enough that the overwhelming population of Democrats in 7 counties continue to outvote the remaining 29, and supply Salem with a perpetual supermajority of woke progressives. If the mechanism to deny a quorum is removed, there would be no way to block the anti-gun and green earthfirster measures favored by the Dems. As bad as the regulatory madness in this state is now, it’ll get worse, and you’ll have even less money in your wallet than you have now. People will travel to Russian Gulags for a vacation to visit a society with more freedom than an Oregonian has.

Re: Portlanders MUST be blind. Tell me again how Wimpy Wheeler got reelected. He’s banned kids from using sparklers in the name of climate change while not lifting a finger to arrest rioters causing destruction to property and presenting a safety hazard to the populace in general. Oh, and BTW, he hasn’t done ANYTHING to get rid of the hundreds of bum-filled canvas condos scattered around town between public and private property. If there was a faster way to drive to Washington by avoiding Portland, I’d take it.

Re: For those of you that’ve been wondering why Cringeworthy Kamala can’t find the border that she’s supposed to be in charge of, this should explain it. What’d you expect from someone who can’t even hire people who know how to spell something that’s going to be in the spotlight of national TV? If they can’t do something simple like that, they sure as hell can’t find a line on a map that divides Texas from Mexico.
