Need an example? Look no farther than Harry Reid, Nevada’s ex-senator. When he ran the senate under Obama, he got rid of the filibuster when confirming federal judgeships below the Supreme Court level, so he and Obama could get a bunch of lower-level federal judges approved. Nevada was so proud of him that, after he died, they named an airport after him. What’d you expect from a Democratic governor and a legislature with a Democratic majority? Of course, this tale magnifies the shortsightedness of all donkey’s asses. After the 2016 election, when Republicans took over, McConnell got rid of the filibuster when confirming Supreme Court justices too, which allowed #45 to appoint three justices who wouldn’t have made it through the process if the filibuster was still in place. Like I said – Democrats can’t see farther than the end of the nose on their face.

Re: Way to go, Eugene! You were in such a hurry to spend $14 million to tear down the old EWEB HQ, and build the Riverfront Park before the World Athletics Championships, you pissed off the bum-lovers by developing one of their prime canvas condo zones. If you’d’ve joined forces with the state and federal players to set up a Transition Center BEFORE the park went up, the bums would all be gone, and you wouldn’t have graffiti and broken windows before the paint’s even dry.

At his direction, they’re ALL lyin’ pieces of shit – anything to dismantle the fossil fuel industry and the American economy and keep his greenie earthfirster fan-club happy. Biden’s not on the ballot in November, but plenty of his Democrats are, and they ALL need to be put out to pasture.

Re: I’ll leave it to you to figure this one out. My guess is that either the truck driver’s GPS had a hiccup, he didn’t know how to read the signs warning against over-length trailers due to road curvature at the bridge’s approach, OR he thought he was smarter than the traffic engineers.
