California’s top Democrat won’t admit it, but after reviewing headlines citing an unfavorable business climate in the state, one would assume that the massive departure of businesses to other states and the subsequent reduction in state revenue are part of why gas taxes are being hiked.

Hecox, the high court upheld state laws requiring student-athletes to compete on sports teams corresponding to their biological sex at birth rather than their gender identity.
