Translation: The Democrats need to spend more time evaluating passage of the tax increases, versus its impact on their havin’ a job if it passes. If it misses the 25 Feb deadline, it won’t be able to appear on May’s ballot, and the referendum will be voted on in the general election in November, like it was supposed to before the governor and her band of demons started screwin’ with it.

Oregon Senate Republicans deny quorum to ‘pause the process.’ My hat’s off to them for their return to the good ol’ days before Measure 113, and my condolences for the walkout’s contribution towards the participant’s 10 unexcused absences. As bad as the hunting and fishing ban part is, the shocking part is pest control. 96% of those polled said they didn’t support this lunacy. These PETA types don’t want you killin’ any disease-carryin’ rats or mice that’ve invaded your property. You can’t make this stuff up.
