DoD could cut more waste by ending ‘use-it-or-lose-it” spending. Anybody who’s spent any time wearin’ a uniform knows what this’n’s about. It’s the same drill at the end of every fiscal year. You’re told if you have ANY money left in your budget, it needs to be spent before the end of the year, or risk havin’ your funds for the next year cut by that amount. The higher-ups’ logic bein’ that if we gave it to you, and you didn’t spend it, you obviously don’t need it. One particular example of this annual shopping spree comes to mind. At one of the places I was stationed, the people in the commanding general’s fixed-wing flight detachment had a bunch of dough they had to spend. They went on a spendin’ spree that’d put a Black Friday sale attendance to shame. It didn’t need it, but they paid to have the carpets replaced in his Cessna. When that was done, there was still money left, so they bought all new toolboxes for their aircraft mechanics.

Federal judges anonymously criticize Supreme Court for overturning decisions with emergency rulings. Of course the criticisim was anonymous. “They don’t have our backs,” is the anticipated reaction when these Democrat-friendly assholes push back against commonsense leadership. Truth be known, the only reason the left-wing zealots are sittin’ behind benches in black robes is because Democrats at some level either appointed or elected ’em. They’re activists, plain and simple.

Should the US use lethal military strikes to combat drug cartels? Dumbest question I’ve ever heard. With over 200 Americans dyin’ of overdoses each day from illegal drugs that came across the border, we shoulda been doin’ it YEARS ago. Oh wait. No wonder we weren’t – we had Braindead Biden as president. BTW, 88% said yes in this poll.
