OREGON OBSERVATIONS.1 26 AUGUST 2025

Judge rules ICE detention of Guatemalan fieldworker in Oregon lawful. You know, if we started doin’ what Turkey did to slicky boys they caught stealing from their compounds after the Korean war, we wouldn’t have these kinda problems. Bein’ a Muslim nation, they applied raghead law. Anytime they caught a slicky boy breakin’ in, they’d cut off one of his hands and hang it on the perimeter fence as a warnin’ to any others that may want to try. As a direct result, the Turks had the lowest amount of break-ins of any NATO participant in the Korean war (at least that’s the story I heard when I was stationed there back in the early ’70s).

DAILY DELIBERATIONS.1 26 AUGUST 2025

Delta, United sued over window seats without windows, refunds being sought. First it was baggage fees, now this.  I hope to hell these money-grubbin’ airlines have to pay millions to the plaintiffs who were charged up to $75 extra to look at a piece of fuselage instead of out a window. I mean come on. If the airlines are smart enough to have little drawings to choose from when you’re makin’ your flight reservation, they’re smart enough to know which “window” seats don’t have windows on that particular kind of aircraft.

DAILY DELIBERATIONS 26 AUGUST 2025

Illegal immigrant arrested for death of teenage boy in alleged drunken driving crash. His charges include: Vehicular Homicide; DWI 1st Offense; Reckless Operation of a Motor Vehicle; Possession of Alcohol in a Motor Vehicle; No Driver’s License; ICE detainer — meaning the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) requested to hold him for a prolonged time. An innocent teenager out ridin’ his bike won’t be going home again – ever. And you wonder why I hate the wetbacks Democrats’ve let into this country. That’s right. I said “let in.” If Braindead Biden had kept buildin’ the wall like #45 was doin’, we wouldn’t be havin’ this conversation.
