UO female athletes continue lawsuit effort after university’s push for dismissal. My last post on this was OO 6 Dec 23. Hopefully when the dust settles, a ruling in favor of the plaintiffs will be a win for common sense. I mean, come on. The U of O men’s teams enjoy the luxury of multi-million dollar facilities to use for showers and changing, as well as the offers of scholarships. At the same time, the women are forced to use a park’s public cinderblock restroom that has the stall doors removed because of rampant drug use and a bleacherless volleyball court. Stay tuned. I’ll no doubt bring you news on the verdict when it’s announced.
