OREGON OBSERVATIONS 14 JULY 2022 Leave a Comment / Uncategorized / admin Re: As with any government situation, if you peel the onion far enough, you’ll stumble on their decision rationale, and in terms of this discussion, it boils down to this: the VA study found Roseburg doesn’t support enough patients within a 60-minute drive to justify the size of the facility. THAT’s why the services offered continue to dwindle. With the possible exception of a miracle, the only thing that’ll change their position is a marked increase in veterans moving into the area. 4 OREGON OBSERVATIONS 14 JULY 2022 Read More »
DAILY DELIBERATIONS.1 14 JULY 2022 Leave a Comment / Uncategorized / admin Re: Regular readers know I’ve told you that since Biden was elected, there’s been no shortage of stuff to rail against, but THIS is a new low, even for that doddering old clueless Democrat. A woke progressive bleeding-heart group has landed a government contract starting at $171 million, which could grow to $1 billion if renewed in March 2023. Government contract means YOUR TAX DOLLARS being spent so wokesters can help illegal aliens avoid deportation. What’s next? Biden giving away taxpayer money to spring people outta jail? 4 DAILY DELIBERATIONS.1 14 JULY 2022 Read More »

NATIONAL NOTES.1 13 JULY 2022 Leave a Comment / Uncategorized / admin Re: Apparently, Blundering Joe’s oft-repeated non-stop gaffe routine, and regular foot-in-mouth insertion events have rubbed off on the First Lady. While giving a speech in San Antonio (no less), she compared Texas Hispanics to tacos. Comparing the voting bloc you’re trying to woo to a food group, is gonna go over like a fart in church – way to go, Jill. 4 2 NATIONAL NOTES.1 13 JULY 2022 Read More »
NATIONAL NOTES 13 JULY 2022 Leave a Comment / Uncategorized / admin Re: Biden’s handlers thought they were being helpful when they included instructional notes to the beginning and the end of his dialogue on the teleprompter. What they failed to realize though, was that he’s got to be able to comprehend what he’s reading. How could they possibly think that he knows the difference between what they’re TELLING him to read, and HOW he’s supposed to read? Obviously, in his senility-ridden state, he has trouble walking and chewing bubble gum at the same time. 3 1 NATIONAL NOTES 13 JULY 2022 Read More »
OREGON OBSERVATIONS 13 JULY 2022 Leave a Comment / Uncategorized / admin Re: You don’t say. While anyone ever exposed to tear gas knows it’s not a pleasant experience, you also know its use is an effective way to stop felonious behavior, short of putting a bullet in someone. By finding fault with a federal safety assessment report looking at crowd control measures deployed against BLM in 2020, both Oregon senators appear to be taking the side of the riotous group that rained fire and destruction on Portland streets. Wyden and Merkley’s opposition to the report’s findings, clearly paints both of them as supporters of the BLM punks. Why, you ask? Beats me. I’m sure the group doesn’t organize get-out-the-vote drives on either senator’s behalf, so if they think they’re going to garner more votes by such action, maybe they need to hire different campaign workers. If I were a Portland business owner who was burned out by BLM, the only effect that’d have, is to make up my mind who NOT to vote for. 4 OREGON OBSERVATIONS 13 JULY 2022 Read More »
DAILY DELIBERATIONS.1 13 JULY 2022 Leave a Comment / Uncategorized / admin Re: For those who might’ve ho-hummed the news about Sri Lanka – do you know what caused it? A government attached at the hip to greenie earthfirsters. Allow me to explain – some of this might sound familiar. The president that just resigned came to power in 2019, amid a severe economic slump. He promised to make things better, so what’d he do? Pushed through the largest tax cuts in Sri Lankan history. Immediately, the global market downgraded their status, cutting off their ability to borrow more money. Meanwhile, he banned the import of fertilizer chemicals in an attempt to turn the country into a greenie paradise, hoping that’d gain them sympathy on the world stage. Instead, it reduced crop output, which combined with their foreign debt burden, led to 54% inflation, and caused food prices to go up by over 50%. While all this is going on, throw in the global pandemic, which wiped out their tourism industry, and you have a recipe for disaster. 4 DAILY DELIBERATIONS.1 13 JULY 2022 Read More »

NATIONAL NOTES.1 12 JULY 2022 Leave a Comment / Uncategorized / admin Re: Hey Biden – you’re a lyin’ piece of shit! Wadda ya mean inflation is the Republicans’ fault? We didn’t shut down the flow of American oil – YOU did. You wanna fix this and quit cryin’ about it? 1. Open the valve and let American oil companies pump American oil. 2. Drive down to the border – you – not one of your lackeys that don’t know their ass from a hole in the ground and put your biggest padlock on the border gate. 3. Remove the handcuffs you put on ICE, start rounding up the two million wetbacks you let into this country, and send them back where they came from – Mexico. Every one of them came through Mexico to get here, send ’em back, so Mexico can figure out how to get rid of them. They never should’ve let ’em cross their borders to start with. 3 NATIONAL NOTES.1 12 JULY 2022 Read More »
