ESPN is using the race card to pressure voters to give MVP to Lamar Jackson over Josh Allen. As my regular readers should know by now, I’m not a sports guy, but the core of the linked article isn’t about sports as much as it is about choosing skin color over meritocracy, and the reason all DEI programs need to die on the vine and go away. I mean, come on. It’s a common sense thing. Would you trust an unqualified mechanic to work on a safety-critical item like your vehicle’s brakes just because he or she possessed the politically correct skin color?
