Los Angeles ‘trash house’ drawing attention as an eyesore, public safety hazard. This place reminds me of where we used to dump our garbage when the ship carryin’ our equipment docked at Puerto Cortes, Honduras back in ’84. I guess what you’d call a caretaker family lived in a cobbled-up shanty made from scrap by the entrance to the dump. When we backed in, before my guys could get the tailgate down, their young kids scrambled into the bed, looking through our trash and taking a lot of it back inside their “house.”
