But then again, it was only of matter of time. Commonsensers could see what was going to happen. When the money dries up, eventually, addressing crime becomes a game of pin the tail on the donkey. First, there aren’t enough dollars to investigate ALL rapes, so they concentrate on child rapes. Next, it’ll be not enough money to investigate ALL assaults, so the only ones that get investigated involve a death. How far will society’s fabric have to unravel until the idiots that clamored to defund the police see the error of their ways and reverse course? As has been said here many times, things will only change when enough politicians who backed the defund movement become victims of the criminal tsunami that’s drowning this country. Until then, you’d better find a reliable supply source for your hollow points. 4
