Employers are fed up with college ‘waste,’ opt for skilled blue-collar workers instead. Really? How will we ever get by as a society without holier-than-thou, arrogant 4 or 6-year degree holders looking down their noses and belittling the rest of us? From a societal perspective, advanced degree holders aren’t the ones who keep your car running, fix the water leak in your house, work in the mines, herd and take care of cattle, or any of the thousands of other occupations that keep this country runnin’. Without us, the captains of industry wouldn’t have any industry to be captains of.
