The conductor retired from Amtrak in 1993 and died in May 2014 — making it impossible for him to have spoken with Biden during his final year as VP, which would have been in 2016 or the first month of 2017. Somebody on Biden’s staff needs to figure out a way to put his memory on a shorter leash, ’cause what they’re doing now clearly isn’t working. 4
