When an appearance of a big money-maker is scheduled, like cities in California, they move ’em out, so the out-of-town attendees won’t see ’em, which draws protests from the bum-lovers. If these cities would embrace Transition Centers, there wouldn’t be any bums to move. In the case of Washington, they’d already be in a compound north of Richland or south of Yakima, on unused land carved out of the Firing Center.
