San Francisco crime problem runs deeper than rosy statistics from city, expert says. Before you start going off the deep end in your sorrow for the citizens of SF, keep in mind that the lack of cops, and resultant slow response times to emergencies and crimes, are their own fault. How can that be, you ask? Because they’re the ones who elected the politicians that made the policies, that pulled money from police, that caused the diminished response times, that emboldened more criminals to be drawn to hunting grounds where they know the odds of not getting caught are in their favor.
