Confederate memorial will soon be removed from Arlington National Cemetery. All right. Enough is enough. The statue in question didn’t depict a Confederate general with a sword drawn. it was of a woman holding a laurel wreath, a plow stock, and a pruning hook, with a Biblical inscription at her feet that says: “They have beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks.” The 40 congressional Republicans against the action contended that the monument “does not honor nor commemorate the Confederacy; the memorial commemorates reconciliation and national unity.” This knee-jerk reaction led by the Democrat left and hangers-on is the last straw. When is the commission to seek out and remove George Floyd and BLM depictions gonna start? That statue is US HISTORY, folks. It happened. Get over it. As a country, most of us’ve moved past it – why can’t the current generation of WP bleedin’ hearts? They literally make TikTok videos of how devastating it is to have to hold down a job and make the money to pay their rent, afford transportation, and go to a doctor when they’re sick. Here’s an idea. Why don’t they leave and head south? Hell, they don’t even have to go all the way to Cuba to have the facts of life slap ’em in the face. When I was travelin’ through the countryside of Honduras, it was an everyday occurrence to see women walkin’ from their dirt-floor shack, a basket full of dirty clothes balanced on their heads, headin’ down to the river to do laundry by bashin’ it against rocks in the water, or men walking to work in the fields carryin’ their machetes. I’m here to say that whoever raised the WP bleedin’ hearts and whiny Gen Zers didn’t do this country any favors, and I can tell you when it started – the hippie-led anti-Vietnam War protests of the 60s, and early 70s.
