Oregon GOP ends democrat supermajority in both chambers. That’s the only good news we’ve seen out of this election so far. Losing their supermajority means Democrats in Salem can no longer ram through legislation without any votes from the Republicans. The legacy of bills like the CAT tax and SB554 are history – at least until the next election, and as long as the GOP can keep the Dems from holding a supermajority, those days won’t come back.
