It sounds like the only thing that changed their minds was an aggressive social media campaign full of negative comments aimed at the city council. Why doesn’t someone start a negative Facebook campaign about how they’re NOT gettin’ rid of the bums and bumettes? HERE’S the way you’ve got to look at it: The City of Eugene can find the money to provide food, shelter, and care for stray cats and dogs. They CAN’T, however, find the cash to get rid of the bums, but they CAN find the money to keep feeding them and overlook their canvas condos. Talk about priority misalignment!
