It took 14 years to fix their f⭐⚡⭐up after enough people complained, and they started the 17-year project to reverse one of the stupidest decisions in urban history. Fast forward 24 years, and Déjà vu’s set in. As anyone who’s transited sixth or seventh can attest to, the endangered pedestrians the article refers to are the never-ending parade of bums and bumettes darting across either of the major arterials, paying no mind to whether or not they’re using a crosswalk. Here’s an idea: Set up a Transition Center, round up all the bums and bus ‘em over there. Pedestrian problem solved.
