When voters approved a change to the Oregon Constitution and created the Kicker, little did they realize – because they keep sendin’ Democrats to Salem – that it was low-hangin’ legislative fruit, ripe for the pickin’. In past years, our Kicker was well over $1000. This year, it was only in the hundreds, and thanks to ANOTHER change put in place by Salem Democrats, it was added to the current year’s refund (instead of an outright check like it used to be). Whatever the amount is, it becomes taxable income towards next year’s obligations. QUIT ELECTIN’ DEMOCRATS!!!
