NATIONAL NOTES 24 DECEMBER 2024

China condemns US military support to Taiwan, warns of heightened tensions over sales. This is another reason to wean ourselves off of anything made in China. For one thing, we need to be able to carry out business as usual when we piss off the Chinese badly enough that they cut off exports to us. We have to be careful to not do that when their manufactured goods are attached at the hip to our economy. US companies that’re smart have been seeking other low-cost manufacturing sites (Vietnam, Bangladesh, etc.) for years, but in my humble opinion, they need to pick up the pace. Otherwise, one of these days, when a Pearl Harbor-style alarm clock wakes us up, we’ll be caught with our pants down, with nowhere to buy the tons of stuff we’re importing from them now.

These f⚡⭐⚡in’ Democrats just can’t help themselves. For Christ’s sake! The Supreme Court’s already said they can’t do it. All Biden’s good for is keeping lawyers in business – the ones bringin’ a neverending series of lawsuits against him and his crew for the dumbass stuff they do tryin’ to get around the law.
