Crime is down because crime is up! I’m sure I’ve told you about this before, but in case I didn’t, here goes: The FBI is the clearing house for national crime statistics. If personnel shortages in state and local law enforcement agencies cause a failure in crime reporting, AND OR victims stop reporting crimes against themselves because they know their assailant will be back out on the street before the ink is dry on his arrest documents, the FBI assumes crime’s gone down. Two suspects arrested after detectives interrupt alleged break-in of their vehicle. Looks like another case of Frick and Frack. These two should reevaluate their choice of occupations. This one’s about as bad as the idiot who tried to hold up a bar hosting a cop’s retirement party or the stoner who unknowingly pulled into the Ft. When a CID agent walked out to leave on an investigation, he noticed copious amounts of smoke emanating from the vehicle’s cracked window.
