OREGON OBSERVATIONS.1 13 MAY 2022 Leave a Comment / Uncategorized / admin Re: Does anybody else read these articles in their entirety? Suppose you’ve visited friends that live in one of Eugene’s newer multiplex developments built in the last few years. In that case, you may’ve noticed that parking is woefully inadequate, and by their actions, the city council, and more specifically, the tie-breaking woke progressive mayor, have just made things worse. If a future multiplex is located within 1/4 mile of an EMX line, they don’t have to include off-street parking. What’s the deal with that? Making the future tenants of these places walk 1/4 mile in the rain to catch a bus is bad enough. It all but guarantees that they won’t have any visitors come calling if they have to park over 1/4 mile away, and God forbid they want to throw a BBQ, New Year’s Eve or Super Bowl party at their apartment. Have the Marxist-loving Democrats suddenly gone anti-social? 4 OREGON OBSERVATIONS.1 13 MAY 2022 Read More »
