School update: boys’ restroom tampon petition fails. Diploma flop. Recall effort. To truly understand how dire these headlines are, consider this extract: “The Oregon State Board of Education also ruled this month that graduation standards be permanently dropped, so that students do not need to show a mastery of reading, writing, and math in order to receive a diploma.” So, allow me to ask the obvious question: If the student isn’t required to demonstrate his or her or it’s proficiency in the basic skills required to make it in the world, why does this state even require them to go to school? Maybe the logic is to see if they can find their assigned school building every day, to demonstrate their future ability to find the Pine Street Logging Company. That’s what we used to call the Roseburg Unemployment Office when I lived there.

Victim of feces attack in Los Angeles calls out city council over response: ‘Gangster’s paradise.’ Are you ready for this one? A business owner in LA makes a video of a bum taking a shit at the entrance to his establishment. The pantless bum then walks over and throws the bag of shit on the business owner’s vehicle. Wait – it gets better. The business owner then sends the video to the LA City Councilwoman representing his part of town, and she promptly tells him to stop sending her ‘graphic material.’ Allow me to circle back to my oft-repeated message – as long as people act like drones and continue to elect woke progressives like this LA City Councilwoman, this apathy will continue. To them, the bum making your customers walk through a pile of shit to get into your business every morning has more rights than you do as a tax-paying member of the city’s business community.
