Under Carter’s watch, inflation hit 14.8%, lines to buy gas were miles long, and he sat on his hands after the ragheads in Iran took over our embassy and captured 66 American hostages. The commonsense president that took his place freed the hostages, reduced inflation to 2.5%, was instrumental in ending the cold war, and in general, ushered in eight years of prosperity. In less than two years, the senility-ridden moron we’ve got now has let in 2 million illegal aliens, trashed American energy independence while begging OPEC to pump more oil, destroyed girl’s and women’s sporting events, and exposed your daughters to getting raped by a transie in a gender-neutral bathroom. AND – so far has let unbridled inflation hit 8.5% on its way to a recession. Just think about what the asshole will do in the two years he’s got left.

The Biden administration is facing pressure on multiple fronts as it scrambles with just days to avert a rail strike threatening to cripple the economy. As bad as that sounds for Biden and his Democrats, there’s an even worse scenario waiting in the wings. Pelosi has said she’ll tack on a West Virginia pipeline deal that Manchin made with Schumer in the Senate to the upcoming continuing resolution bill to fund the government. The problem is, if she does, over 70 House Democrats are saying they won’t vote to keep the government from shutting down, that Manchin’s deal was with Schumer, not them.
