NATIONAL NOTES 29 JULY 2025

Homeless people can be removed from the streets by cities and states in a new Trump executive order. White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said Trump is ‘delivering on his commitment to Make America Safe Again.’ Turnin’ cartwheels doesn’t BEGIN to cover it! I’m sure I mentioned that I sent my Transition Center plans to #45/47 when he was #45 and again when he returned to be #47. The executive order outlined above, while not a carbon copy of my plan, certainly appears to be the result of someone in his administration reading it, paying attention to what they read, and putting their spin on it. I couldn’t be happier.

DAILY DELIBERATIONS.1 29 JULY 2025

Man discovers ‘ghost town’ full of empty, eerie hotels: ‘Like a time capsule.’ Abandoned Japanese resort hotels have stood nearly untouched for over three decades. If you do a little research, you’ll find that the US has close to 300 times more bums and bumettes than Japan, and you can bet your sweet ass if that former resort were located in the States, it would be filled with scofflaw squatters.

NATIONAL NOTES.1 28 JULY 2025

Do you think President Trump should fire Fed Chairman Jerome Powell? Come on people. You’re lettin’ your ignorance of this country’s economic system show. Only 49% said yes to that question. There’re a lot of money people who’re way smarter than me that say Powell needs to drop the rates. He’s draggin’ his feet, and costin’ the country BILLIONS of dollars in interest.

DOJ forms Russiagate ‘strike force’ to investigate declassified Obama-era evidence. Bondi says the DOJ ‘will investigate these troubling disclosures fully and leave no stone unturned to deliver justice.’ Hey Obama! You’d better watch your back. It won’t be long before the DOJ turns over the rock you and your asshole buddies’ve been hidin’ under.

OREGON OBSERVATIONS.1 28  JULY 2025

Gov. Kotek calls for special session to pass ODOT funding, Oregon transportation projects. She will push for a six-cent increase to the state’s gas tax, an increase to vehicle fees, and a doubling of the state’s payroll tax. I figured this was comin’. Democrats can’t see any farther than your wallet. If she’d force ’em to hold back the state’s part of the $5.8 billion they spend on bums and wetbacks every year, she’d have the money, and it wouldn’t cost us anything. But NO. She’s still tryin’ to get blood from a turnip.

OREGON OBSERVATIONS 28 JULY 2025

Lane County Renews Navigation Center Contract Despite Safety Concerns. Here’s an idea: Spend our money on somethin’ USEFUL – anything but a place for drug and booze addeled bums to hang around, that leer and otherwise hassle high-school students that havta walk past to get to class. I’ve tried to tell you before: This $3.4 million of our tax dollars that Lane County spends on bums is their part of the $5.8 BILLION that Oregon, its counties, and cities spend every year. If they wanna throw our money at somethin’, spend it on Transition Centers that would get bums off the streets, take care of their medical and mental problems, and train ’em to be productive members of society. If they don’t, all the money they spend getting’ them a place to live’ll go right down the drain, ’cause they have no skills, and can’t get a job that pays the rent, even though it’s subsidized.
