Idaho becomes first state to institute firing squad as primary execution method. I don’t care what you say, cost of imprisonment awaitin’ execution notwithstanding, and regardless of the studies bleedin’ heart politicians throw at us, there’s no way lethal injection is a cheaper form of execution than a firing squad. Even if all five rifles were loaded with live .308 rounds, the cost of ammunition would only be $8.15 compared to $300,000.00 for a lethal dose of pentobarbital. And yes, WE’RE payin’ the bill.
