Firefighters respond to fire at abandoned building off Highway 99. This does not surprise me in the least. As one who’s driven past the graffiti-covered structure dozens, if not hundreds of times, it was obvious that the abandoned building was a destination spot for bums and/or druggies, so guess how the fire started? It sure as hell didn’t start itself. 14 years ago, it was a tavern. Lately, it’s nothin’ more than a spray-paint magnet.
