Lane County Human Services says homelessness saw slight dip in January 2026. You couldn’t prove it by me – or probably anybody else drivin’ around Eugene. There appear to be just as many bums pushin’ or draggin’ carts fulla junk, tarps and tents, and piles of squalor to mark where they’ve been, as there have been in years past. TRANSITION CENTERS!!!
